　　　　　　　木は貝類のほのぐらい夢のなかから
　　　　　　　ほっそりと身を起し
　　　　　　　さびしい夢の触手みたいに
　　　　　　　吹雪の中でゆれています

　　　　　　　　　　大きな水色の貝が死んでいるよ……〉　


　　　　　　　鳥は銀のほうきの一閃で
　　　　　　　翼と足をもぎとられ
　　　　　　　まっ白い調理場へ
　　　　　　　さかさまに投げこまれていきます

　　　　　　　　　　　ぼくを助けて……〉


　　　　　　　灰色の分厚いカンヴァスのおくへ
　　　　　　　子どもの声が吸いこまれていく夕刻


　　　　　　　一粒の涙が
　　　　　　　大きな黒い影をひいて
　　　　　　　空の深みへ落ちていくのです

A child is looking out a window


Trees lift slenderly
from murky dreams of shellfish
wavering in the blinding snow
like lonely antennae

Wings and legs swept off
in the flash of a silver room
one by one the birds
are tossed upside-down
into a spotless white kitchen
